Edward Henderson is a composer and performer based in south London. He makes work with instructional scores, found objects, repetition and duration. He studied Music at the University of Cambridge and Composition at Trinity Laban where he won the 2014 Directors’ Prize for Composition and was a finalist in the Gold Medal Showcase at Kings Place.
He is a Director of the composers’ collective Bastard Assignments and contributes work to their shows in south London including the S/M/L and At Your Place series. Upcoming BA performances include the Frontiers Festival in Birmingham and a tour of Copenhagen, Aarhus and Berlin with AUT.
Edward’s work has been performed at Nonclassical’s clubnight, Tête à Tête Opera Festival, 840 and at Rough for Opera.
He teaches at City Lit and runs two inclusive community choirs for Certitude.
